“Albert Schweitzer” (2025) is an animation I created for the Dutch television quiz show 2 voor 12. It tells the story of Albert Schweitzer, the musician, philosopher, theologian, and doctor. He’s best known for founding a hospital in Gabon, Africa, and for coming up with the phrase “Reverence for Life.” His lifelong contributions to humanity earned him the Nobel Peace Prize.

Working with a script provided by VARA, I set out to design a vibrant and engaging animation that would be both educational and entertaining for television audiences.
